Frequently Asked Questions

Everything schools, teachers, and families need to know about the Read 4 Adventure program.

Who+

Elementary students in Washington State. We are limiting the number of schools this year to 100 schools, on a first come, first serve basis. Schools and homeschool co-ops must have a minimum of 100 students (K–6) to participate.

What+

Schools are invited to participate in the Read 4 Adventure Program where students can earn their choice of ticket from a list of activities offered from one of our locations. Some of the options include ropes courses and ziplines, laser tag, discounted party package, and discounted summer camp experience.

Where+

An authorized school representative can register their school using the Read 4 Adventure application. To redeem tickets, vouchers can be redeemed by booking online or by visiting one of our 3 locations. Read 4 Adventure Application

Why+

Our kids spend plenty of time on screens — phones, video games, movies, and streaming platforms. There is a shared desire to see kids put down the screens and get outside or to find the joy in reading a book that fosters the imagination. This program helps with all of these issues by motivating them to read with a ticket to do an activity of their choosing.

When+

Registration opens in the fall, and the reading program runs during the month of March. Schools have until April 15th to submit the list of students who achieved the reading goal.

How+

Students need to read for fun for a total of 8 hours. Acceptable materials include books, magazines, newspapers, eBooks, or comic books. Reading for homework or a class assignment does NOT count. An online reading log is provided to the school organizer for distribution.
